A cobot does not require downtime to rest or charge since it is connected to a 120V power source and is rated to run for 36000 hours. If a failure does occur, the downtime of a cobot is typically no more than 24-48 hours. With the modular and simple design for the joints as well as the ease of onsite programming, cobots can not only be deployed quickly, but can also recover quickly from issues that would conventionally require extensive safety protocols and long downtimes due to the complexity of other non cobot based systems.
